Carrying TWO Level 10 Nacli through a Charizard 7 star raid
Raid advice for low level or new players on joining our 7* raids
1 - Normally, we would have have 1-3 players with nuke or high damage Pokemon such as Azumarill (with Belly Drum, Shell Bell, Play Rough etc.)
2 - If you don't have such a Pokemon, then bring the LOWEST level Pokemon you have. This is because a low level Pokemon will not reduce timer much when it dies, whereas if you bring a mid-level or high level Pokemon that keeps dying, the rest of the team will not have enough time to beat the raid. In fact, Charizard can be solo'd as long as the timer doesn't drop.
3 - However as a low level you can provide very good support at minimal cost if you bring a "Sturdy" ability Pokemon such as Bonsly or Nacli which can both be found very early on in the wild. Alternatively if you give the item Focus Sash it will also do the same and allow you to survive an extra turn.
4 - Add Helping Hand to the moveset
5 - During the first 2 turns try to do cheers to buff. Azumarill does not need offensive buffs, so focus on defensive or heal after it uses Belly Drum.
6 - If you are a high damage player, but low on health, do not make a move until the team has healed you. The raids do not operate like a normal Pokemon battle or even multi-battle. Speed is not used to determine who goes first between team mates, rather, whoever clicks first goes first. If you click a move, then the raid boss will also make a move on you as per normal mechanics (the higher speed goes first, I believe). Similarly, if you are a healer (e.g. using Cheers), please do so asap otherwise the attacker may run out of time to make a move and considered a turn skipped.
7 - When your nuker teammate is ready to make offensive moves, use Helping Hand constantly on the highest damage fighter! Helping hand can stack, so sometimes we can carry 2 new players at a time if we work together.
