Rules below, exactly as they are in our Discord server:
-A Friendlocke is a Nuzlocke/Dungeons and Dragons mix
-First encounter per 'area', as deemed by unique location names on the overworld map (however, places like Mourning Town are still considered Autumn Hill and Stations are considered in the area they're in and not unique locations)
-I may pick either of the two Beasts in the first encounter to Record
-Upon a successful encounter, someone at random (who is playing, as they will be chilling in the 'box vc') is assigned to the Beast
-Once assigned to the Beast, they may name the Tape however they wish, as well as control what moves to learn, forget, and whether they wish to Remaster (evolve) or not.
-In battle, I play as both Trainers, the player member and the other party member, deciding on what items to use and who to use. Otherwise, it's up to the Friend to control the Beast by telling me what move to use and who to use it on
-Just like a Nuzlocke, once a Beast is defeated it's Tape breaks, rendering it effectively dead for the rest of the run. 1 life.
-If we have all encounters and still some people do not have an assigned Beast yet we are allowed to double up encounters from certain areas to accommodate them
-Fusion will require both Beasts to agree to it beforehand, and then both agree on what move to use. If they are unable to reach a conclusion, a coin will be flipped on which move to use
-Partner Beasts will NOT be used, aside from Kayleigh's. They will be scrapped for resources as soon as possible.
-Difficulty will be set to 'Recommended' on both Trainer AI/Level Scaling sliders
-Certain Beasts can be obtained for Overworld abilities (Bulletino, Jumpkin) but will not have a Friend assigned to them unless they're our first encounter for the area
-SHINY CLAUSE: If we find a wild Bootleg, whoever is that Beast may transfer their soul into it. If no one fits that, then whoever was caught in the area may take it.
