All custom game mode options were enabled (permanent tape breaking, and randomised monsters, types and moves.

PinkGeeRough and Kayleigh start with a plastic-type Pondwalker and water-type Padpole. How far can we go?

Cassette Beasts is a monster taming game taking place in New Wirral, a place where people appear randomly. In this world, there are wild monsters that can be recorded into Cassette Tapes!

Once the game is finished, players can unlock Custom Game Mode, allowing for permanent breaking options as well as randomise ones.
