Mickey Mouse returns to star in Castle of illusion, a fantastical reimagining of the Sega Genesis Classic. SEGA shows us, the Level 5 at E3. This Gameplay Demo showcases what players can expect in Mickey's upcoming adventure.

Castle of Illusion is not a remake though. Rather, it is a tribute to the past Disney Mickey games on Genesis. Mickey's new adventure will have him facing past foes like the beanstalk Giant. From what I played, like DuckTales SEGA didn't skimp on the difficulty, though for beginners an Easy mode and checkpoints were added.

Overall; I like the game thus far and I'm happy to see more classic platformers reborn. Here is hoping, that Darkwing Duck is the next HD Tribute.
