Castle Story beginner guide - Controls building gathering tips & tricks
184This video tutorial shows some useful trips and tricks for players just starting out in castle story, the new RTS / sandbox game from sauropod studio.
We go through the basics of the, lets face it, unintuitive controls, groups, building, gathering and a lot of small quirks like deleting blueprints etc. that is good to know before starting out.
I was originally going to do one of my regular first impression videos of this game, but due to how complicated it was to get started in, resulting in failed recordings consisting of me scratching my head for the better part of the video, I decided to do this starter guide after I figured it out, to help people in the same situation.
Please keep in mind that this video was recorded and uploaded mere hours after the very first playable pre-alpha prototype of the game was made accessible to kickstarter backers. A lot of this may have changed by the time you watch the video, and a lot of what may be common knowledge by the time you do, I did not know when making this :)
