We take a step through that dangerous looking door and... what is this place? Sure is dark... anyway, Soma gets to hear some motivating words from all of his friends around the place and there we go, it's the final battle of the game against Chaos! Once again, we fight Chaos in two phases: in phase #1, all our souls are taken away from us and they're stored inside of three statues which are rotating on a ring that is flying through the air. While we try to destroy the statues and get the souls back, a weird beast randomly comes out and attacks us and also, weird green diamonds or so fly at us too. Stay offensive and this phase should be no problem. Once the statues are destroyed, phase #2 begins. In this phase, we're up against a black hole of sorts which is our main target, as well as four eyes on the corners of the screen and a dragon that flies around the area. The black hole needs to be destroyed, but it takes very low damage; to increase the damage it takes, you have to destroy the eyes in the corners while evading the dragon. Also, at times you are attacked by thorns that shoot out from the black hole or green marbles that are shot out and slowly move in on you. To be successful here, you can either go straight for the black hole or you can destroy the eyes beforehand, which is what I do here. Though it is the final fight, I gotta say it really is not all that hard and after a short time, the black hole shatters and Chaos is defeated. We now see the real ending where Soma and everyone else are just fine and the castle is gone. The end. No really, this time I mean it.

Wow, that sure went quick. Once you start this game, it's really hard to stop. =D
This was my walkthrough of Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow. The game has much more to give, like a boss rush mode where you can time how quickly you are able to defeat all the bosses, or a Julius mode where you can play the game again as Julius Belmont but I don't really like these modes, so I'll leave it at this. It was a very short walkthrough, but that's the way I intended it to be, so I'm quite pleased with the result and I hope you are too.
My madness is all gone and while playing this game, I got a good idea of what my next walkthrough should be; I'll tell you this much: it'll be a jump'n'run / adventure game for the SNES. Not Mario, but close. Until then, have a good night and a pretty late Merry Christmas to everyone.
