I was itching to play castlevania recently and I saw a friend playing this one so I wanted to try it myself. Arranged mode on PS1 has more modern graphics and other changes I'm not really aware of but I think it looks and sounds better than the first version of the game. The games difficulty is a enjoyable, in the older castlevania games you would fall backwards after getting hit once, potentially killing you if you take a hit near a bridge or ledge, this does not happen in chronicles.

I tried to find as many food areas as I could and came across a hidden score item ( Moai head )
konami's old mascot. Moai gives around 4000 points in the final stage before dracula. This run was played on twitch while recording through Bizhawk- I was a little inebriated at the time :)
