Contra : Operation Galuga - No Deaths Playthrough/Lance Bean(Demo.Ver)
7I had no idea there was another Contra in the works, so It was brought to my attention a demo version was out on steam. When I saw it was being done by Wayforward I only expected good from this game and it delivered.
Operation Galuga has multiple characters to choose from including a new character Ariana and the Probotector units. You have all the classic weapons from the old contra games and some new weapons. You can choose from 1-hit mode ( Classic ) or a health bar for hardcore and casual playstyle including perks which power up your character. You can ground and air dash which is pretty new to contra and an ( item crash ) which lets you sacrifice a weapon level to use an ultimate attack. Each weapon is different - for example the machine gun gives you a temporary shield and the spread will cause a flurry of bullets to fly in all directions essentially killing everything on screen.
This demo was pretty fun and I like the new changes to this Contra, it appeals to hardcore and casual players, you have different ways to approach this game and all the weapons feel useful. I'll definitely be looking forward to trying this game when it comes out.
