Geeze. My Chromebook can't handle this (ancient) classic game??? I was curious about using my Chromebook to play games since the Stadia is going away next month and I really largely got this one for Stadia so I gotta look at other options. Seems this platform can be a viable one for gaming but just like with Windows based PC gaming you gotta do some tinkering (and research!) to get things running up to standards. One thing to contend with is the general lack of controller support for alot of games yet as far as emulation goes you can do pretty well with a Chromebook. I have heard that companies are making streaming options more readily available for Chromebooks too but I can't really do that here at work because of firewalls. Perhaps I will try that out at home. Stadia was barely playable from what I recall but the aspect of remote play is an intriguing one. Its so sad Stadia is going away because cloud gaming is the future. Being able to play ANY game regardless of what hardware you have is truly a marvel. Thing is most folks were not ready for that tech when it launched and Google screwed up largely because they didn't have the right people spearheading the service. It was marketed okay I suppose but they had no real killer apps or must have exclusives. Just like the kinect you had a good idea that might have been simply before its time because if you think about it everything has voice commands and motion tracking tech in it. Google meanwhile is licensing the Stadia tech out for other companies to use. Lots of companies actually...
