So as we continue this journey in trying to figure out just what the hell happened in NIWA, I think we have almost enough pieces to put some of what took place in the massacre. We know that the Maw was involved, somehow took over the nurse Ursala (not sure as to how yet, might have been due to a psychotic break that allowed easier access for the Maw to slip inside) and kill (possibly) the artist who would have been the first victim. The question is why? Why was the Maw sealed up in Thomas's office, what's its connection to these negative emotions like rage? And why is it hold a keen interest in Sadness?
I honestly don't know yet but as we get more and more clues, I think we might be able to get a better understanding in the next episode.
