Catorstrax - Zero Day
13Hoping no one thought I ditched this channel or something...
I mentioned in a community post a couple months back that while I've been working on numerous tracks since my last release, I haven't wanted to force myself to focus too hard on them as making music is only a hobby of mine and nothing more at the moment. If I'm not motivated or in some writer's block, forcing myself to release more stuff to meet a proper schedule isn't that good of an idea.
Moving on, what you're listening to is a complete reimagination of my Zero Day track from 2020. The original track was a synthy, gritty cyberpunk-inspired track that was really fun to make but looking back, it's definitely not my best work. So I decided that instead of releasing the original crappy track on streaming services, I'd instead recreate it to my own satisfaction.
It was originally meant to be simply a remake of the track, like what I did with my Cinnabar Island remix, but after some experimentation with various sounds, I decided that reimagining it as a more atmospheric and chill track was the best route to go down. I hope you all enjoy it!
