I decided to do something a bit challenging which was to catch an alolan Geodude with the Galvanize ability.

Geodudes are found on Ula'ula on route 12 in the first grass patch.

My setup:
Poliwrath with damp ability to prevent self destuct lv 40+ with scald, hypnosis, bubblebeam
Sylveon: with Skill Swap to check for ability
-Several Leppa berries to keep scald going

Process:
-Drop one with sturdy down to 1 hp, then adrenaline orb
-Use two Defense X to lower the power of thunder punch on poliwrath
-Using scald to hit the called in geodude helps with the speed due to sturdy. If scald burns it will kill that geodude in that turn instead of taking two.
-Continue dropping the second geodude until about 20 in and switch up which geodude you drop to prevent struggle killing the weak one.
-At around 40 call in's drop the weaker one and leave the other at full health, this will lower it's ability to call for help.
-Stall out this geodude using items with no effect (Like Antidotes) until it uses all of it's self destructs it has 5 PP
-Once it's out pull out your sylveon and skill swap to check if the geodude has galvanize, if not repeat the last few steps
