Cavalcadence plays Aria 29: 1-1 challenge! (All Zones Mode: AMPLIFIED)


So after completing a "1-1 challenge" (i.e. can collect items and use shrines only on the very first level) with Cadence... I thought it might be fun to give it a try with Aria as well. Though I guess with Aria, it's kinda technically a "5-1" challenge... or "4-1" in classic NecroDancer. =)

Anyway, I definitely wasn't expecting to succeed on my very first try (as happened with Cadence), and... I was right. The first run didn't go so well. Nor did the next few runs. ^^; But then this run happened. =)

So anyway, here it is... my first ever "1-1 challenge" Aria win! Hope you enjoy!


Oh, also, I know that currently, a lot of us (including me!) have more limited entertainment options than usual... which definitely makes me appreciative of the options I do still have! So to help do my part, I'm going to try to record and upload more often than usual for at least a little longer! I hope it helps, even if just a little! ^.^

Also, quick note! The "notes and possible points of interest" section is going to be less detailed than normal (I know some of you do enjoy them, so apologies in advance for that!)... It does take some time to write those up (especially for the longer videos!), and right now, that time is probably better spent as recording and uploading time instead, so... ^_^

20:00 Decided to use the "hit the Lute once then intentionally wait for the Confusion" strat, because of the way it essentially cancels out the later Confusion spells (the Lute can only do one special action on any particular beat, so if the Lute casting Confusion (which normally happens when you hit the Lute while it's Confused) happens on the same beat as another Lute action (like summoning dragons (5 damage) or activating the wall pigs (9 damage)), the Confusion will be cancelled, and the Lute will do the other special action instead)! =)
