Cavalcadence plays Mary 99: Green Bat #73 (All Zones Mode: AMPLIFIED)


So I was once again doing some 0-gold low percent Mary attempts... and unfortunately, things weren't going so well... =p

But then, several runs in, a fairly promising run happened... and of course, that's when the game decided to send Mary a 3-3 Green Bat. ^^;;

I decided to scrap the 0-gold low percent attempt... but given the late start, I wasn't sure how strong a build we'd be able to put together... but by the time we got to 5-3, we actually had a better build than I probably would've expected. =)

Unfortunately, 5-3 was also where I made a careless mistake by dodging at the wrong time. =/

Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with how the run went... both the 0-gold low percent section, and the "trying to put together a decent build after going through more than half the game without picking up any gold or items" section. =)

Ow, better get rid of the mage before it throws another attack, though! Oh, an orc! We'll need to dodge to the side, and probably don't want to go too far up, though, in case there are more enemies in the hallway, plus that electric zombie should be coming back up soon, so we can't waste too much time, umm, we should dodge now, while the path is clear! ...wait, no!
24:24 "You died! Press up + down to continue." =p In hindsight... probably should've taken care of that electric zombie right at the beginning of the level, but... ah well. =) On the plus side, despite starting in 3-3 with no gold, we did manage to put together a decent build by 5-3 (armor, some extra health, some extra damage, trap immunity, and healing!)... so I am pretty happy about that. ^_^
