Fair heads up; there is a spoiler for those who haven't played Grandia toward the end of this part of the video. Part 2 doesn't have this spoiler, however.

This video shows the Boss Rush mod by Seriousface, but with a tweak I added in myself... Featuring Feena from Grandia! Her sprites were created using Klik & Play (The ancestor of Click & Create & Multimedia Fusion) for the primary palette and then were imported to Windows Paint.

Feena has 2 weapons to use in this video; her knives (Machine Gun edit) and the Dragon Zap! spell (Snake edit), both of which have limited ammo (The knives do regenerate, however). She only has a 1/4th of the MG ammo in knives and Dragon Zap! has 250 shots total. unlike the knives, however, the DZ ammo does not regenerate, and there are no powerups to increase its ammo, either.

Additionally, when Feena maxes out a weapon, some protective spirits (Whimsical Star edit) come to assist her. You'll first notice them in the Balfrog battle.

I would've liked to include more of her spells and even her whip, but that would've given her too much of an advantage... Oh, and never mind the 'glitch' around Curly Brace in the core battle...

The knives used in her main attack (Knife Hurl) are an alteration of some unused Blade sprites from the original Cave Story.

And finally, the Dragon Zap! spell was created from scratch using Paint, as well, though no actual base sprite was used for reference. The "core" of the lightning may resemble the diamond shaped Brazier from Ultima 6, but that was just a coincidence...

And yes, the weapon names in the video are not politically correct with their Grandia counterparts. Don't get mad at me for these inaccuracies...
