Cavity Busters - 2 Hours of Gameplay
Cavity Busters is a roguelite that takes inspiration from Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon.
Only 2 hours of gameplay will be shown here, as getting 100% in this game looks to take a long time and involves a lot of randomness, mostly with regards to the bestiary entries, which are very rare random drops from enemies. You need to get all 60+ bestiary entries for a trophy, and I don't even get 10 in this session. Aside from that, there's also 240 powerups which are randomly generated, and it looks like you also need to get all of those.
There's a lot to take in with this game. There's the wall jump, ability to 'jump' to any room you've cleared, digging through walls to get to new rooms at the cost of shovels or health, and the mints/golden teeth items which can unlock items and new secrets. There's modifiers that can adjust the amount of health and drop rate making for a longer and more chaotic experience. There's also some genre-mixing with the game having separate shmup sections accessible once you feed enough golden teeth to the main body.
This gameplay does most of the character trophies, an all modifier run, and unlocks the shmup sections so you can see what might be the 'true final boss'.
While the game is enjoyable, it does suffer from UI issues where prompts overlap each other, and a lot of power descriptions aren't really clear on what they do. Bestiary entries also don't drop very often, and seem to be influenced by enemy kill count, but there's no way to control what enemies you'll encounter each run, and it seems you'll need a lot of enemy kills to better the odds of spawning bestiary entries. I'd still recommend this game if you're interested in what's basically a 'Bullet Hell Binding of Isaac'.
