3Creator of The Witcher, Andrzej Sapkowski. has settled with CD Projekt Red after publicly demanding over $16M in royalties - even after selling the rights to The Witcher to CD Projekt in the early 2000s. Even while wholly owning the rights to the franchise, CD Projekt Red has been consistently open to renegotiation if the resolution was fair to both parties.
