-------------------------
Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and this time I'm back with what I think will be a future meta contender once all of the cards arrive to the TCG. Today's build is the second time the Argostars archetype has been featured on my channel, so be sure to check out my Casual hyper-hybrid take on theme here first: • CDP: Argostars Ninja Multi-Universe F... . Now that you're back, let's talk about how this deck makes the most of its Continuous Traps, and to do that, I have to start with That's 10!. Each time a card or effect is activated, it gains a counter. Once it gets 10, it returns to hand, you get a free Continuous Trap from your deck that Special Summons itself, and you can start counting anew. Of course this works great with Argostars - Purple Tydel, as Tydel can tutor any other card in the archetype, but it also serves as access to your core disruption options such as Statue of Anguish Pattern, Silhouhatte Trick, or even Apophis the Swamp Deity. So, the goal of this deck is to leverage other engines that activate as many effects as possible in succession... so let's start with the Fiendsmith.
The Fiendsmith theme is very overpowered with how much utility it offers for such little deckbuilding investment, but in this deck, it works especially well. Combining Fiendsmith's Sequence with Aerial Eater allows you to enable Diabolica the Draconique General, recover your Fiendsmith's Engraver, trigger your Necroquip Princess, and just continue the never-ending combos. Lacrima the Crimson Tears even ensures that you never run out of LIGHT Fiends, recovering a Fiendsmith Link from the GY during the opponent's turn, or sending a new Fiendsmith card to the GY during yours. While of course you can always rely upon Fabled Lurrie as your discard for Fiendsmith's Tract, I'm also leveraging a full Danger! engine here, freshly expanded by the recent TCG December F/L list. Danger! Nessie! and his two Level 3 pals also give you something you would want to discard with Tydel, and at worst, they serve as a way to dig deeper into your deck for combo pieces. The last fun engine I've included in today's build is Mask Change II, as this Quick-Play Spell can turn a mini-Danger! monster or Silhouhatte Trick into an unexpected Masked HERO Dark Law, certain to stun the opponent and give them even more disruption than they were already bargining for!
