-------------------------

Welcome back for a new Creative Deck Profile, this time inspired by a deck used by one of my friends at my locals, that I've unfortunately lost to more times than I'd like to admit. Today's build combines the Live☆Twin theme and their Evil★Twin counterparts with a few other archetypes designed to control the duel, gain advantage over time, and eventually out-resource just about any deck it comes into contact with. Oh, and did I mention it just got two powerful new support cards in ALIN, such as a new LINK-1? I'll start there with the new Evil★Twin Ki-sikil Deal, which lets you send a Lil-la monster from the Deck or Extra Deck to the GY to let you draw a card each time your opponent activates a card or effect in response to your Ki-sikil or Lil-la effect the rest of the turn. Typically, this is used to get the other new card, Live☆Twin Lil-la Sweet to the GY, a new Level 2 Main Deck monster that can Special Summon itself from the GY while you control a Ki-sikil monster. From there, all bets are off, as you have your two monsters for Evil★Twin combos. The rest of the Live Twin side of the deck is fairly standard, with Live☆Twin Sunny's Snitch offering punishing LP losses to an opponent that Special Summons repeatedly during a turn.

Let's move onto the Runick side now, and this is where the disruption comes in. With Runick Fountain on the board, your hand becomes another set of S/T zones, with Runick Quick-Play Spells waiting in the wings to ruin the opponent's day. They also happen to banish card(s) from the top of their deck, and if you hit an essential engine requirement, well that's just too bad for them, now isn't it? Every Runick Spell also doubles as access to Fountain via Hugin the Runick Wings, a Level 2 Fusion that tutors it on summon, giving you a body and the ability to draw up to 3 cards once per turn, after a Runick Quick-Play Spell resolves. With all of these Level 2 monsters between the Live Twins and Hugin, it just seems natural to throw in the Spright theme as well. These Thunder monsters explode onto the board, with Spright Carrot and Spright Red offering negation and Spright Blue and Spright Jet letting you tutor even more combo power. Either way, all of these monsters can turn into bigger and bigger links, from locking the opponent with Knightmare Gryphon to leveraging Evil★Twin's Trouble Sunny to special summon both Evil★Twins back from your GY at once! This deck turns any grind game into a GRIND, so hope you enjoy my take on the concept!
