CELESTE: 5th Anniversary! - Full Playthrough
4Oh, my, God. This game.
So, to anyone who knows me, it should come as no surprise that Celeste is one of my favorite games ever. I've only ever played the game once on my channel, with one other attempted challenge run that ultimately fell through, but I've speedrun this game countless times on my own and even let a speedrun stream be the debut of Celeste content on my channel. This is my favorite 2D platformer ever for its incredible story told with just a few characters and extremely skilled emotional writing, its amazing level design and extremely refined physics and controls, the tons of extra content there is to explore, its higher level of difficulty, and the overall wonderful game design philosophies its developers have.
This game's story hits HARD, and it can be really relatable for anyone who struggles with depression or anxiety, and I've never actually let that story show its true colors before. The only time I ever played through Chapters 1 through 7 A-Side on this channel was in that speedrun, and so for the game's fifth anniversary today, I'll be finally playing through those chapters in a more normal way, and this may mark the last Celeste stream on my channel for a while, maybe. I WILL be doing my often-times terrible voice acting, but that's just because it's whatever to me. I enjoy doing it, so why not?
I hope you all will enjoy watching this stream just as much as I'll enjoy playing this game today.
