☿ Celestial Void | Chromesthesia Synaesthesia Visualization Music Video | #SurrealSunday | Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean there really is just void.. was kind of one of my base thoughts while creating this audio. Not meant strictly in an astrophysical way, but meant in general, figuratively as well as literally, in our everyday life and situations.

I'm a Chromesthete, not a real composer. I create sound- and thus colour- and shapespaces for my brain, to induce various reactions or states, e.g. to get sleepy or just simply to "chill out", or, in this case, also to "energize" while "chilling" - those two things are not contradictory in my book to have them at the same time :)

I'd love to enrichen your imagination that there's more layers to what we call "reality", more than meets your physical eye. This has nothing to do with "esotericism", Synaesthesia is a studied and proven fact, and is also something completely different from "hallucinations" like they can occur in some mental illnesses (or by intaking certain substances). The brain doesn't make up those synaesthetic experiences "out of thin air", but because some brain areals are - as opposed to a neurotypical brain - intertwined with each other, various sensory input is being processed differently in Synaesthetes. The form of sensory input which triggers Synaesthesia varies from Synaesthete to Synaesthete, to my current knowledge, so far there are about 160 different Synaesthesia forms documented.

In my series #SurrealSunday I try to visualize what some Chromesthetes see when they hear audio, or to let your own imagination "run wild", and intake audio even deeper than you may have before.

Some Chromesthetes see colours and shapes "internally", before their inner eye, some are so-called "projectors" who see some form of manifested audio outside their body, for example in the vicinity of loudspeakers or whereever the audio source is, including human voices. Just imagine some form of augmented reality, where you can see a projected object as if it were real.
