A decidedly minimalist re-imagining of a classic custom theme I created 8 years ago for the PS3 (google if you're curious). the idea was to make something that evokes the design of the console hardware itself.

I've tried to create an interpretation of the console design on an abstract level, paying close attention to the curves and sweeps of both the slim and pro PS4. I'm hoping users will catch the obvious inspiration. I've also implemented a new technique for particle effects in the function screen.

Audio will be a compound mix with panning stereo sweeps which follow the oscillating light encircling the user. the mix down on YouTube compresses all the channels so the static elements sound much louder than they actually are in the final theme, though this is still very much a work in progress.

Because this is inspired by "PlayStation" (in all but name), I've forgone customizing the icons.
