Hi everybody.
We are getting flooded with requests for themes based on Wipeout Omega, however, we can't create anything that we have not been hired to do.
Even then, I sat down for a few minutes to parse out what such a theme might look like. In a short time, this is just one example of what we came up with:
A while back we developed ways to simulate HDRI, reflection mapping and more in a fully 3-D theme environment. I've been waiting for the right theme to implement them, and I think a Wipeout theme series utilizing these new effects would be perfect.
This prototype is just a quick demonstration of a fraction of those ideas implemented and running, in real-time, in the theme software. Something like this would truly be a labor of love for us, and I hope the video above demonstrates that!
