CENSORSHIP IS OVERRATED | The Top Hat Studios Controversy Explained
25The Top Hat Studios controversy has been ongoing for a few days now and I wanted to give my own opinion on it, along with context as to what has been happening. Top Hat Studios has developed a game called Sense - A Cyberpunk Ghost Story which received backlash from SJWs for being uncensored, sparking the first video game controversy of 2021. Top Hat Studios then gave a statement regarding video game censorship for Sense - A Cyberpunk Ghost Story and chose to release the game on Nintendo Switch uncensored regardless, with a majority defending Top Hat Studios for their actions.

Top Hat Studios deserve your support during this video game controversy, as censoring video games is overrated and this game is rated appropriately for their target audience, therefore censoring the game isn't needed and Top Hat Studios chose not to censor the game. The Sense - A Cyberpunk Ghost Story is rated ESRB M and PEGI 18 in the US & UK respectively.
Sense - A Cyberpunk Ghost Story will be available on Nintendo Switch from 7th January 2021, and is available to pre-order and pre-load now for £17.99 or $19.99.
Sense - 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story is a 2.5D horror game inspired by Clock Tower and Fatal Frame, mixing cyberpunk with traditional Cantonese folklore. With careful attention to pacing, atmosphere and storytelling, Sense hopes to return the horror genre to its roots by celebrating visceral horror and the slow, fearful creep of dread.
