DBrand Have Dared Sony To Sue Them For Their Custom PS5 Faceplates!
482DBrand, a company who make screen protectors and phone cases, have challenged Sony to take legal action against them, or at least encouraged them to do so, because they're making matte black custom PS5 faceplates and other smaller companies failed to manufacture custom PS5 faceplates because Sony took legal action against them, due to copyright infringement. Now DBrand have challenged Sony to take legal action against them, and Dbrand claim they have good lawyers, so they're feeling mighty confident in themselves and their product. Two other smaller companies have attempted to manufacture and sell custom PS5 faceplates in various colours but they failed to do so.
There are no pricing details just yet and Dbrand says they will only accept orders when they have sufficient stock at their HQ in Toronto. They shared that the faceplates will be entering mass production by the end of this year and it will be available in 2021. They are offering two versions to cover both digital and disc editions. Dbrand also added that they will be offering optional bundles which include Middle + Controller skins once their faceplates are available for purchase.
