Watch this cute 3D animated short called "Sailing Rocks", about a strange geological phenomenon where rocks move and inscribe long tracks along a smooth valley floor without human or animal intervention. Maybe, we just don"t take the time to watch them live their lives! For more information, please see the details and links below.

It was inspired by a real geological phenomenon that occurs in the Death Valley, USA. I wanted to create a story about what would be their lives, and what happens if they meet each other!
I also tried to experiment a stylized and colorful world, based on the work of Ed Mell.

Created using Maya, Vray, Houdini, Mari and Nuke.
