TheCGBros presents ""Spirals" - by Paul Golter - "There are often some hundred times, a thousand times before you can really see it for the first time." (Christian Morgenstern)

"Spirals" shows the form of the spiral in all kinds of dimensions in nature. Starting with the DNA with a diameter of 2 nanometers all the way up to the Milkyway with 120 000 lightyears in diameter the spiral runs like a golden thread though existence. Why nature does this, again and again, is not clear until today. Is all this based on a universal code, which we can"t comprehend? Or is the principle of efficiency the explanation? Does evolution work like water, which always takes the path of least resistance?

With "Spirals" I want to show the viewer this phenomenon.

-I"m Paul, 20 years and made "Spirals" to apply for the Filmakademie in Baden Württemberg.
-the majority of the film was animated and rendered in blender, cycles
-some shots were made with Houdini fx
