DLC Quest (Unlock verbs? ($.99)) is a satirical indie platformer from Going Loud Studios that (Unlock metaphor? ($.99)) holds a mirror up to the more insidious practices of today's video game monetization... and all for the cost of a small indie game. Sure, there's decent platforming action, but first you have to buy the ability to jump, to move left, to display basic character animation, and to solve any of a number of problems that pop up as you save a princess from a poorly-realized plotline.
