Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Finny the Fish & the Seven Waters for the PlayStation 2 developed by Natsume and published by Sony.

Evil has befallen the waters! All seven of them! This calls for the one fish who’s…fish enough…to save the day! Finny the Fish & the Seven Waters is like a platformer without the platforming. Playing as a fish named Finny, you swim through huge, maze-like water levels while avoiding enemies, collecting items and performing tasks. There are 100 kinds of fish in these waters, some of which are dinner and some of which will make Finny their dinner. To survive, Finny must eat constantly. If his hunger meter empties, his life drains immediately. That means, during all your questing, you have to also eat a lot of other fish. And be careful not to get snagged on a lure! The game is similar to Endless Ocean, only with more traditional gaming objectives and less of the atmospheric vibe. Finny the Fish & the Seven Waters is a single-player platformer and a PlayStation 2 exclusive.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Finny the Fish & the Seven Waters for the PlayStation 2 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
