Nemesis review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Nemesis for the Game Boy developed by Konami and published by Ultra Games.

Nemesis is an old-school shoot 'em up, a scrolling trip through the dangerous annals of space. This was the first Gradius game released for a handheld, not to mention a shooter that was a little too complex for its platform. Nemesis is best played on a later Game Boy model or on the Super NES with a Super Game Boy. But however you play it, you're getting a top-shelf SHMUP in the Gradius spirit. The levels are based on those from the original Gradius, slightly shortened and condensed for portable play. For its platform, the game is also impressive graphically.

This video review features video gameplay footage of Nemesis for the Game Boy and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
