Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of X-Men from Western Technologies, Inc. and SEGA for the SEGA Genesis. X-Men is a side-scrolling beat 'em up with lots of platforming, a style of game that was the nineties equivalent to the modern day first-person shooter in that roughly one out of every two games on store shelves is the exact same thing. With four helper mutants at your one-time-use disposal, you play as four X-Men, swapping between them after dying the same way you could in the classic Ninja Turtles games of the era. This video review features video gameplay footage of X-Men for the SEGA Genesis and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
