I see the bullets in my dreams. They challenge me, to find a path, to find a solution, to actually make heads or tails out of a massively convoluted and technical scoring system, to cast aside my doubts as to whether or not this giant flying samurai really can conjure not only trains, but the tracks to run them on, from thin air and weird mandala portals. Sure. Makes perfect sense in bullet hell. From Cave, the folks behind Dodonpachi, Deathsmiles, and Nin^2 Jump (a woefully underrated game in its own right), Akai Katana is the kind of game you either love or avoid because its mere presence causes you to go into fits.
