Some indie games look like they were dredged up from whatever was left after the 8- or 16-bit parties ran their course. Hypotenuse isn't one of those games. Sure, all the characters are rectangles... but they're good-looking rectangles. With swords. And topknots, for whatever reason. The game itself is minimalist, hardcore samurai combat, because even though the game describes these as NINJA rectangles, I can see them. Thus, they can't be ninja, now can they?
