Medal of Honor: Rising Sun review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Medal of Honor: Rising Sun for Playstation 2.

Medal of Honor had become known for its recreations of war-torn Europe but for this game, the developers decided to change things up a bit. You now fight in the South Pacific Theater, fighting against the powerful Japanese Empire. The game starts with a very climatic depiction of Pearl Harbor and then takes you all over the lands of the far east. The only problem is the formula is starting to feel bland as it is basically you against the world, a world with terrible AI. You go through and just shoot everything that moves. With other, more in-depth WWII shooters, this one is fun in passing but does not equal the greatness of previous entries in the series.
