Scooby-Doo Mystery review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Scooby-Doo Mystery from Argonaut Software and Acclaim for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Fittingly given the cartoon, Scooby-Doo Mystery is a mystery game. It's kind of like Maniac Mansion, but with platforming replacing the pointing and clicking. You play as Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, controlling them simultaneously as you explore four spooky levels and solve the mysteries therein. Once you find clues, you take them to Velma, who makes sense of it all. The game doesn't ask much of you beyond find the things, which is great because you wouldn't really expect anything more from Shaggy and Scooby. You run into other characters along the way, as well. Freddy has valuable advice on where to go next, and as chance would have it, he's usually correct. And Daphne...oh, Daphne. This video review features video gameplay footage of Scooby-Doo Mystery for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
