Sniper Elite V2 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sniper Elite V2 from Rebellion and 505 Games for the PlayStation 3. Sniper Elite V2 is a stealth based third person shooter set near the end of World War II. You play as an American sniper charged with taking down key figures in the German missile program. Unlike a lot of other military shooters, Sniper Elite V2 is designed entirely around a single style of combat—sniping. And it's a huge improvement over the original Sniper Elite. V2 controls easier, the stages are more interesting, kills are more satisfying. In fact, compared to the first, V2 almost feels like a whole different game. Your health regenerates automatically this time, and it also adds some checkpoints. That makes V2 a lot less frustrating than the first Sniper Elite, as well.
