CGRundertow SUPER CASTLEVANIA IV for SNES / Super Nintendo Video Game Review
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Super Castlevania IV for the Super Nintendo, from Konami. Dracula has risen again in the first 16-bit installment of the Castlevania series, and it's up to the legendary vampire hunter Simon Belmont to vanquish evil with his trusty whip. As one of the earlier releases for the young new console in 1991, Konami pushed the limits of the technology with enhanced graphics and a striking musical score, not to mention refining the play controls greatly with more whipping and jumping precision. But it's still without a doubt in line with prior classics in the series, and could certainly be considered one of the best action platformers on the SNES. This review features Super Castlevania IV gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.
