Chamber of Wonders is a two to four player competitive game from Ludus Magnus Studios Lite who kindly sponsored this video. This has been made using a prototype version of the game for their kickstarter campaign, and the components are not final.
Let’s take a trip around two hundred years back in time to the early eighteen hundreds. The Age of Discovery has just come to a close and mysterious, magical wonders from across the world begin to make their way into the public market! As a hub of economic activity many of these artifacts make their way to London, and the capital has been gripped in the fever of a new fashion craze; The Chamber of Wonders! Bored nobles, shady merchants and unscrupulous explorers are selling, buying and curating the most exciting and intriguing objects for their own displays in the hopes of developing the most impressive collection of wonders!”
Players will be competing to build the most impressive collection of wonders. You’ll pound the streets of London, visiting auction houses, markets, famous locations and shady dealers utilising your network of contacts to source wonders for your display cabinets. The game will end when you have run out of agents. Then it’s judgement time! You’ll earn fame points for your collection, and the collection with the most points is the winner!
