REVIEW:
In this game you have to race on 6 tracks:

Silverstone
Imola
Monaco
Detroit
Tranwell
San Marino

You are racing against 12 opponents, but there is 100 racers in every race, and at the first race you have to finish no worse than 76th. You have to finish at a higher place every time you get to a new course.

If you bump into other cars your car will catch fire and lose top speed. There can only be a certain amount of fire in your car before you have to drive into pit and get the car fixed, but you will off course drop down in the rankings doing this.

This game is made exclusively for the ZX Spectrum, and it might be the fastest racing game for the machine, but the use of colors could be better, things do look a bit messy at times. There is some great effects with hills and hairpins, and you really get the feeling of speed when playing this.

If you drive of the track or into other cars you will almost stand still, and this can be a problem because you can be hit several times by other racers that is driving straight through you destroying your car. On the top of the screen you have all the informations you can dream about except a map, which is what you need the most. Besides this and the messy use of colors this is a very fast and cool racing game that fans of this genre should check out.

The game was published by Impulze in 1991.
