In today's video, I'm going to show you how to change your email address on Coinbase. If you're a long-time bitcoiner, then chances are you've had the same email address for years and don't want any of your old emails coming back to haunt you when it's time for tax season.
Furthermore, this will also ensure that if someone tries logging into your account with a password they know or guess, the system won't allow them access because the person would have an incorrect email address. This is very important so that no one can access any of your funds without first knowing both your password and having control of the correct email address as well.
1. Login to your account on coinbase
2. Click "Settings" in the upper right corner of the screen
3. Scroll down and click "Change email address"
4. Enter your new email address, then confirm it by clicking "Send confirmation link".
