5Superliminal is a game about solving puzzles by literally viewing them in a different perspective. Pillow Castle did a great job at setting up the game to make it a literal mechanic. They weren’t super hard to solve and not too easy to make me feel unsatisfied. You are slightly guided by a sassy (but familiar) voice assistant and introduced to a scientist that lives in a radio, and has a message that is worth the wait at the end of the game. Especially when it’s complimented by the wonderful music composed by Matt Christensen. The moral of the game, especially at the end, is something unique that you are actually able to take with you even after you’re done playing. This is a quick game that plays with the idea of perspective. It might lead you to realize that you may have been stuck on one perspective as if you were asleep 😴. Superliminal shows you that you CAN see the other perspective and you just might.. Wake… up… 😲
