Chapter 1: Forest Walkthrough - Finding Teddy 110% Walkthrough
1Finding Teddy is a short sound based, point and click game developed by Storybird Games. Throughout this game there are a couple of things that can be collected. They are fireflies and artworks. Fireflies are hidden on certain screens & can be found by clicking them. The artworks are unlocked mostly by just finding fireflies with the rest gotten by just playing through the game (including 2 gotten from New Game +). Throughout this walkthrough I will show how to get all 15 fireflies & all 23 artworks. A list of all of the fireflies that are obtained in Chapter 1 is found down below.
Some of the events in this game aren't technically required in order to complete it, but I do them anyway simply for the sake of completion.
When the girl gets out of bed at the beginning of the game, click the wardrobe to enter a secret world. Once there click the right side of the screen to go right. On the next screen click the yellow fruit. Go 2 screens to the left so that you see a big gray blob thing. Click the girl & your inventory will pop up. Click the fruit and then the blob to feed it. After eating the fruit the blob will move out of the way, allowing you to go down.
After going down 1 screen from the blob, go into the cave at the left. Go down 1 screen & right 2 screens. Click on the empty bottle to add it to your inventory then head back out of the cave by going left twice, up once, & right once.
Once back outside go right once, down once, & right once. You should now see a waterfall. Open up your inventory and click on the glass bottle then click on the waterfall to fill it up. With the bottle of water go left 1 screen, up 1 screen, & right 3 screens. You should now be on the screen with the wasp. Use the bottle of water on the plant to make it grow into a flower. The wasp will drink some nectar from the flower & give you a saw as a reward.
Go 2 screens to the left and enter the treehouse. Use the saw on the plant & you'll get a stick. Head back out & go left 1 screen. Here is a frog that is saying something & has symbols that appear above his head. He's saying "HELLO". From here go left 1 screen, up 1 screen, & right 3 screens. Now you should see 5 frogs of various colors. When you click on each frog they will each give a letter. You want to spell the word "HELLO" which you can do by clicking the frogs in the following order: Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, & Red (you can do orange & purple in either order as they both represent the letter "L").
Spelling the word "HELLO" will get the frogs out of your way and will add 4 letters to your Musicom. Go right 1 screen & use the stick on the little hole. A bug named Mr. Mouche will come out & join you on your journey.
Go left 4 screens, down 1 screen, & right 3 screens. Click on Mr. Mouche & then on the feather up in the tree. He'll knock the feather down for you. Go left 4 screens so that you're in the cave, go down 1 screen, right 2 screens & then down 1 more screen. Use the feather on the bird statue & it will start talking. It spells out the word "HAPPY".
Go up 1 screen & left 3 screens so that you're on the screen with a crying monster. Click on the musical note thing toward the top middle part of the screen to pull down your Musicom then spell out the word "HAPPY" (the letters are in alphabetical order). This will make the monster cheer up & give you a big, yellow key.
With the key in hand go right 2 screens. On this screen you may have noticed an angelic bird thing. This guy is not a part of the main game, but is instead part of a sidequest. He says "TELL HER I AM SORRY". This is only important for Chapter 2. Continue on by going right 1 more screen, down 1 screen, & finally left 1 screen.
Use the yellow key on the locked door and you'll move on to Chapter 2: The Swamp.
There are 4 fireflies in this chapter:
Firefly #1 (1:43): Go 1 screen south of the yellow blob monster. The firefly is found in the top right corner, at the bottom right of the group of leaves. Click in this area and the firefly should appear. Click on the firefly to catch it.
Firefly #2 (1:50): Go south 1 screen from the blob and then left 1 screen so that you're in the first room of the cave. This firefly is found slightly to the left of the girl, on the ground & beneath the tall black rock.
Firefly #3 (2:33): Go down 1 screen from the lone frog. The firefly is found in the middle of the left side of the screen. Specifically it is above the small light green plant next to the large light green plant.
Firefly #4 (3:00): Go 1 screen to the right of the lone frog. Here the firefly is found slightly above and to the right of the girl (it's just a little left of the tiny candle thing).
