Today we leap back into books with "Character - The Grandest Thing In The World", a book written by Orison Swett Marden and published in 1899. This is a fascinating book, and is labeled by many as one of the first of a wave of self help type books that swept late 1800's America. I look forward to discussing its themes and concepts with you in the following weeks!
Chapter 1 is an introduction of sorts, with Marden providing us with a quintessential example of character through Henry Drummond, a Scottish evangelist.
