Pax vobiscum!

Today we continue our discussion of "Character - The Grandest Thing In The World", a book written by Orison Swett Marden and published in 1899. This is a fascinating book, and is labeled by many as one of the first of a wave of self-help type books that swept late 1800's America.

Chapter 3 introduces us to "the great-hearted", and provides many stories and examples of this concept. My favorite, and what once could do a whole video discussing itself, is the story of the Spanish Moor and the Spanish Cavalier. I hope you enjoy our reading and discussion of this short but interesting book!

What does it mean to you to be "great-hearted"?
