With the huge numbers of IEDs in Afghanistan, the death of people like Olaf Schmid and films like Hurt Locker the profile of the bomb disposal expert has never been higher but their needs are even greater.

Now a new charity - Felix Fund - has just been launched to not only help the teams on the frontline, but the families back home. Its chief executive Holly Davies has been talking to British Forces News presenter Kate Gerbeau. She started by asking her why the bomb disposal teams needed their own charity.
