1,012Here's a PS4 games tutorial showing you how to buy games cheaper by adding the US store to your console for access to better deals. I've used this method for a while now and have saved hundreds of dollars over time on games you see uploaded on my old channel (located at www.youtube.com/pixelshogoz). In this video I start off by telling you the benefits of creating an American account. I also show you a comparison between my local store and the American store before going into detail on how you can create an American account in order to get cheaper PS4 games and gain access to really good deals. Step 1 (2:49): Create an American account
Step 2 (3:33): Activate your American account
Step 3 (4:06): Create an account at Amazon to buy PlayStation cards for your American account that you just made and activated
Step 4: Head over to the PlayStation Rewards website (https://www.playstation.com/en-us/explore/sony-rewards/) to link your American account on the PS4 so you can start earning rewards for all of your purchases on the PlayStation Store
Step 4: Redeem your digital code from Amazon by going into the 'Redeem codes' section in the PlayStation Store on your American account
Step 5: Enjoy the generally cheaper games the American store has to offer!
Important notes:
- I've been told that you can skip creating your account at Amazon and simply link your credit card to the American PlayStation store within the store itself - something I left out of the video tutorial. Thank you Neverdom for this valuable piece of information that I left out of my video :)
- You need a credit card to be able to buy PlayStation cards from Amazon. All PlayStation card purchases will be displayed on your screen after you use your credit card to purchase them
- When creating an Amazon account, I made up an address in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is because I know I won't get taxed when I purchase PlayStation cards. I heard somewhere that Amazon taxes some states and I know that Colorado Springs isn't one of them that will get taxed. So, make your home address in Colorado Springs, Colorado too just in case.
- If you need help finding an address in Colorado Springs, Colorado, use Google maps to help you locate one. Any address will do the job
