Cheating Moth Review — You ARE the Cheater
This is a tabletop card game where cheating is allowed! No, you HAVE to cheat to win this board game night! The goal of Cheating Moth is to get rid of your hand of cards, either by playing them, or through special card effects and abilities (or by cheating). Components are simple, it's just the box and the cards that make up this light party game. However, this simple premise also means a simple rulebook, and simple rules lend to a lot of gray areas that may lead to lots of downtime as your group argues over the ruling. At the same time though, if everyone's agreeable, the sky's the limit when it comes to this board game's skill ceiling, as their all sorts of clever ways to hide cards to outplay your friends like dexterity tricks or social engineering, which opens up all sorts of unique cardplay strategies.
