Avocado Smash! (Party Edition) Review — Me Smash.
Shelfside reviews Avocado Smash Party Edition! This board game may as well be the tabletop successor to card games like Egyptian Rat Screw/Egyptian War/Slamwich. As expected, players will win by being the fastest card slapper, but Avocado Smash also incorporates talking and counting rules to really mix up the gameplay! However, this is Avocado Smash Party Edition, meaning there's new additions to the original Avocado Smash like Avocado Toast cards, or playing for toppings tokens as a win condition instead of trying to run out of cards in your deck. Don't worry though, these new rules and mechanics aren't that complex, and Avocado Smash Party still works great for family fun on game nights that feature light party board games. Look out though, some slaps don't award you any toppings tokens, and some of the talking cards may not pan out so smoothly while playing.
