I'm really impressed with Eonia.
Eonia is an "open world adventure RPG"
It's world is a cross between Dr. Seuss and Van gogh and I was worried the Dev may have bitten off more than he could chew but walking around in the world he has created I was nothing but impressed. He has done a fantastic job of the appealing environment.
I felt the game play, what little I could experience in the one and a half hours I played it, was just as good. I had clearly only scratched the surface of what it has to offer and the developer has promised a lot more. So far it has had me exploring, mapping, documenting the fauna and a small amount of combat. Missions unlock as you explore and reading books you find in your travels unlock abilities like lock picking and swordsmanship.
Game play in the video starts at 6:40 for those who don't want to read through the notifications etc.

Another great feature of this game is the price, it is only $15. A game like this could have been a lot more.

My only complaint is the music. It was too shrill for me and started to get on my nerves. A little less of the high pitched instrument/sound they are using would make it more relaxing and conducive to the environment offered. I eventually disabled it in the video.

It is in Early Access though and there are aspects that are quite noticeably missing. So if the Developer keeps up the good work we should be on a win.
