Check'n Hakoniwa Explorer Plus
3This game should have been good, but it just wasn't. Your inventory fills in about 5 minutes and you spend the rest of the game constantly opening it to discard items and the weapons break so quickly that you NEED to do it or your without weapons or potions you need. I did one basic mission then found myself looking for an oasis in a desert which basically means repeating the same screen over and over and over, including the opening of the inventory to make sure I wouldn't be left without a working weapon.
It has some cool, all be it guttural, humour, a nice look and what should have been good game play but then they just destroyed it in the implementation. Another example, every time you bump into a person a dialogue opens of differing length which constantly interrupts the game in populated areas. If you need to get into a store with a person standing in front prepare to get annoyed. They have also left it 4:3 aspect ratio and a small grid size, this day and age?? It's as if after the initial ideas they just gave up and shovelled out anything. What a shame, I played this one because it looked so good.
